Aqua Scroll is an ephemeral performance piece in which I trade my paintbrush for a water kettle full of hot water and my rice paper for facsimile paper. I layout multiple strips of fax paper on the ground and start drawing by pouring hot water. By exposing the heat-sensitive facsimile paper to high temperature, dark markings slowly begin to emerge across the surface. I then let the paper dry. Once dry I can install the artwork.
